1.The National Unity Government (NUG) Activities
The NUG stated that they had set up the Strategic Communication and Public Relation Unit-SCPRU to be able to carry out public relations effectively and quickly in real time.
In Myaing Township of Magway Region, 3 Pyusawti members from Kanni Village, along with their families, ran away and defected to Pakkoku District Force (15).

2.Revolution Activities
On Friday, Assistance Association for Political Prisoners announced that 222 women had lost their lives from January to May 9 throughout the country due to the military junta and their names had been identified.
Nyan Lin Thit Research Team announced that there had been at least 82 cases of the junta’s airstrikes on civilian targets from May 2 to 8.
In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army conducted 4 airstrikes on civilian targets.
3.Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) Activities
In Naungcho Township under the control of Ta’ang National Liberation Army in Shan State, the junta army conducted attacks via drone and heavy artillery on local villages on Friday.
On Friday, Karen National Union Myeik-Dawei District expressed their concern for the safety of Myanmar people and Thai people upon the junta’s plan to construct a nuclear reactor of 110MW with the technology from Russia.
The Secretary of Military Committee under Chin Brotherhood stated that 100,000 USD is required for artificial limbs and hearing aids for the comrades injured in the battle to seize Falam in Chin State.
The KNU Myeik-Dawei stated that they have lived and continue to live in harmony with the Thai people. They also pledged that they are ready to continue to live together as a good neighbour with respect and friendship in the future.
4.The Military Council Activities
In Moscow, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing met with the President of China Xi Jinping on Friday.
The junta leader claimed that they would guarantee their best for the safety of Chinese projects and staff in Myanmar.
In Tightgyi Township of Yangon Region, the junta police arrested suspects who allegedly had murdered two children.
On Saturday morning, the junta leader and his delegation left Moscow for Novosibirsk. Reportedly, they were met by the Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Mr. Travnikov Andrey Aleksandrovich and responsible personnel at the airport.
The junta’s Minister of Construction said that it is not necessary to demolish all the buildings damaged by the major earthquake and ranked at the red stage in terms of damage. He claimed that they would identify those which could be renovated with technology and repair them.
On Friday, the junta leader, his wife and the delegation did meritorious deeds at Myanmar Theravada Buddhist Centre in Moscow.
The President of Ghana H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama sent a statement of sorrow to the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing regarding the losses of lives and property in the major earthquake on March 28.
