The Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Electricity and Energy-NUG stated that 18 Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the NUG have been serving their duty in the areas under the influence of resistance forces in the northern and southern parts of the country.
In Gyobinkauk Township of Bago Region, there was a raid into a patrol camp of the People’s Defence Force. Reportedly, the PDF lost two comrades and they had to escape from the camp.
In Banmauk Township of Sagaing Region, Kathar District PDF (4) attacked a camp of Shanni National Army under the military junta.
In Wetlet Township of Sagaing Region, there was a robbery along with murder in Hladaw Village. Reportedly, 11 suspects were transferred to Local People’s Security Force for interrogation and the two ministries of the NUG will work together on case.
Ministry of Education-NUG has conducted a campaign ‘Safe Schools, Safe Education’ with the target amount of 400,000 USD between July 15 and August 31.
In Paukkaung Township of Bago Region, 2 soldiers from the junta’s Ka-La-Ya (53), along with 2 guns and ammunition, defected to Pyay District PDF (3601).

In the south of Myawaddy in Karen State, the junta army has had to defend hard not to lose their strategic force stationed in Wawle Town on the Thai-Myanmar border.
On Wednesday, Justice for Myanmar called on the academia and international partners to boycott Belarus Universities which have been training the officers of Myanmar’s military junta.
In Hmawbi Township of Yangon Region, the dead body of Shwe Nya Wah Sayadaw, a democracy activist and former political prisoner, was cremated in the compound of his monastery on Wednesday evening.
In Hpakant Township of Kachin State, there has been ongoing fighting between a combined force of the Kachin Independence Army + KPDF and the junta army. Reportedly, the junta army carried out heavy aerial bombings on Wednesday.
According to Political Prisoners’ Network Myanmar, Ko Aung Thu Htet, a political prisoner in the junta’s Thayarwaddy Prison of Bago Region, was beaten by a prison staff member named Soe Min until his shoulder joint was disconnected. Reportedly, he is being kept in solitary confinement.
According to a study by the Blue Shirt Initiative (BSI), State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has earned the highest trust of the public up to 67% in Myanmar under the military rule.
Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
According to the Arakan Army, a junta’s conscripted soldier asserted that the junta army officers had shot dead those who had retreated from Ann-Padan battlefield.
The junta’s conscripted soldiers from Aung Zaya Column, who had defected to Karen National Liberation Army, asserted that the junta army had been placing conscripted soldiers at the very forefront in battlefields.
The Commander in Chief of the Karen National Defence Organization stated that it is necessary to be strong and to be in a better position to defeat the terrible enemy; the junta army. He also warned that unity is vital for strength.
In Myeik-Dawei District under the Karen National Union Brigade (4), a combined force of the KNU attacked the junta army invading Mount Nateain on the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers were caught alive and weapons were confiscated.
In Naungcho of Northern Shan State, Ta’ang National Liberation Army relocated their civil administration offices to safe places. They also stated that heavy fighting would proceed in the area.
The Military Council
The junta propaganda media claimed that the junta army had regained control of nearly the whole town of Naungcho. They also published photos of junta soldiers at landmarks in town.
In Myawaddy of Karen State, the junta’s Border Guard Force shot at kidnappers. Reportedly, they caught one of them dead along with a badge of the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army and 4 others were caught alive on Tuesday.
The junta’s Central Bank announced that they would sell 33 million USD to the importers of fuel oil in the foreign currency market.
In Ottara Thiri Township of Naypyidaw, Ottara Thiri Reservoir on Kyauk-O Stream is being repaired as it was affected by the major earthquake. Reportedly, the second junta leader Soe Win inspected it on Tuesday evening.
In Maisat Township of Eastern Shan State, a new Sikkaung bridge is being constructed across Namkoat Stream on Maisat-Tachileik Road. Reportedly, the junta’s Commander of Triangle Regional Command and other responsible personnel inspected it on Monday.
The junta’s Union Election Commission stated that Pa-O National Unity Party had submitted the application for registration as a political party on Tuesday.
